Tillandsia chiapensis 'Gigantesco’ is a large-growing air plant with broad, silvery leaves covered in a soft layer of trichomes. The leaves can also develop a subtle pinkish blush, especially in brighter light, adding warmth to its pale silver coloring.
This variety can become an impressive specimen over time. Plants may eventually produce tall pink bloom spikes with purple flowers, followed by pups around the base.
